Hi, I'm Brian Tang.
I'm curious about a wide range of things and I love learning something new every day. My goal is to make good use of my skills to contribute to society in a meaningful way. I would love to be able to achieve that while combining the various different interests that I have.
I'm currently a first year master's student studying computer science at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and I graduated in 2018 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Minor in Computer Science.
I'm a born and raised Michigander and Taiwanese American who loves learning about different cultures—especially through great food and music. I'm fluent in American English and Taiwanese Mandarin. In addition, I took a few years of French and Japanese.
My hobbies include, but are not limited to cooking/baking, sightseeing, jump roping, tennis, canoeing, reading, playing the French horn and piano, dancing, creating art, and playing video games.
